The Kingston Flyer is the nickname of a vintage stream train, located on the southern shores of Lake Wakatipu, a 40 minute drive from Queenstown.

The Kingston Flyer's history spans over 120 years and still this steamtrain departs Kingston Station daily at 10.00 am, 1.00 pm and 3.45 pm (1st September, mid May).

Indulge in the luxury of a bygone era; let yourself be carried back to the late 1800s, a time of gold, steam, earth and dreams. Special Half Day Tours ex Queenstown are available by catamaran or minibus. The Kingston Flyer is available for private charters.
